NCCC JOB OPENING
The North Central Counties Consortium (NCCC), a designated Workforce Development Area under the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act, administers federally funded job training & employment programs in Colusa, Glenn, Yuba and Sutter counties. NCCC is located in Yuba City, California and is recruiting for a Program Officer to become an integral member of NCCC’s team.  Salary range is $64,000 to $81,250.  Benefits include: employer paid insurance for the employee that includes vision, dental and general medical, as well as CalPERS retirement.

PROGRAM OFFICER



The Program Officer's primary function is to provide oversight, guidance, training and support to subcontractors, prepare plans and write grants, write policies and procedures, monitor subcontractors for program compliance, represent the consortium at state and regional meetings, facilitate organizational and regional development efforts, and serve as the consortium's Equal Employment and Complaint Resolution Officer.

The Program Officer reports to the Executive Director and works closely with other staff, the Governing Board, the Workforce Development Board and subcontractors in providing them with information and recommendations to facilitate sound decision-making, strong organizational development and success.

A bachelor's degree in business, social science, organizational development, public administration or related field and at least five (5) years of regionally based program, funding and service development experience.  Experience in a public workforce system preferred.  A possession of or ability to obtain a valid California Driver's License is required.

Familiarity with common computer software programs is also necessary with proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
